How do I get to 600 activity points in a competition? How are they calculated?

I am pretty technical but I have no idea how activity points work. The instructions say you get a point for every percent of your rings you complete, up to 600 points I have three rings, so how do I get to 600 points. Also I’m competing with my son and I’m way ahead in all the rings and he has 600 points and I have 550 For today. It is very unclear how this is calculated

You can get 600 points by filling up the rings more than once. It can be a combination of any of the rings.

As far as competing with your son, percentage is determined by goal. So if I have a goal of 800 calories for the day and another person only has a goal of 500, then their percentage should, in theory, fill up faster.

This is meant so that two people can compete without over stressing their body.

There Wow. This is incredibly an intuitive. I hope somebody from Apple is reading this

And using the Activity app on the iPhone, there is no way of knowing the fact that your points can be affected by changing your move goal. Further there is no way of knowing your move goal from the Activity app on the iPhone. Typically you get more information on the iPhone not less.

I had to do a web search to find out that you change the move goal you have to press hard on your watch screen. If you’re trying to have a competition with someone, there is no real way to know without going to this forum that how you may have set your move goal, and I have no idea I ever did so, can impact the result
