Moving a project to a different computer

I am working on a video for my son's rehearsal dinner. When I save my project as .mov or .mp4, the sound quality on one of the songs is less than optimal (much of it has a buzzing sound similar to a blown speaker). I have selected the highest quality and the file is 16 GB, but the sound is not acceptable. I think the best option may be to show the video straight from iMovie, but my computer is a desktop. My daughter has a fairly new MacBook. How do I move the project to her computer to run it from there? Or does anyone have a suggestion for a way to save it that doesn't result in diminished sound quality?

Thanks for your help.

Create a new library. Copy your project into it. Move the new library to an external drive formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Plug the external drive into your daughter's MacBook, where it can be opened by iMovie and played.

Make sure that your daughter's MacBook is running the same iMovie version as was used to create the video. Otherwise it might not work.
