How can I clean up my iCloud storage?

Hi,

This has been really frustrating for me. Would you kindly advice how on earth I can clean up my cloud storage? I have logged in (my mac) and tried to clean, logged in via my other mac and tried to clean, logged in via web and cleaned up multiple times and still shows I have more than 4G filled.

I have multiple devices connected via my apple ID

Regards,

Medi

Manage your iCloud storage

Try going to iCloud.com/iCloud Drive using a computer browser and click on Recently Deleted at the bottom right. If there are files there you do not need, delete them. Then try iCloud.com/Settings using a computer browser and go to Advanced at the bottom left. Access Restore Files. If there are files there you do not need, delete them.

If you have deleted photos, have you emptied the Recently Deleted album?

Hi,

  • I have logged in to iCloud.com then went to iCloud Drive which is https://www.icloud.com/#iclouddrive
    • There is nothing there but 2 empty folders and I have deleted but those 2 empty folders get created again.
  • I have logged in to iCloud.com then went to setting which is https://www.icloud.com/#settings
    • I went to advanced in bottom left corner and access restore files and there is nothing there either.
    • There is nothing in restore backup, calendar or contacts
  • I'm still having 4.65G full

I honestly have done everything possible. I thought apple is for anyone to figure things out and I'm an IT expert and still can't figure out how to clean up my iCloud. either there is a bug or something that is not exposed otherwise I would have found it already.

I truly appreciate your help

Server problem for nearly 2 years?

So they should reset the servers again or this is a bug that they need to fix once and for all?

How can I ask for level 2 person?

I thought this is THE apple support forum so I don't need to chase 5 different channels to get an answer for an existing problem that everyone knows about and decided to ignore.

Perhaps they wanna keep it this way so people buy apple extra storage just to avoid stupid annoying push notification?
