Corrupt drive on iPod Classic 160gb

I had someone at an Apple store change the format of the drive to Ms-Dos so I can use it on my PC. The problem I saw when I went home was that it said the drive is corrupt. When I look at the settings on my iPod, it says my drive has 0kb free of memory. I also can't restore my iPod due to a software issue on the iPod. I don't want to go back to an Apple store because the closest one is over 30 miles away. What can I do????

Thanks.
