Good afternoon,

Good news, its working now.

When I was at IOS 12.4.1 I tried everything suggested including rebooting both devices multiple times and it did not work.

Last night I updated to IOS 13 and boot both devices and thats when it began to work.... Initially after the reboot tried it using Pages and was getting the same result as before when it was not working, I then tried it on "Notes" and saw that it was working, so I went back on tested it successfully on "Pages, Notes, Preview and Charts"

So thanks for your response Mikhail, however I seem to have the opposite experience, I did not get it working on IOS 12, It started working after my update to IOS 13.

And I am loving it.

Thanks everyone for your assistance with this.

Hi GMcSilk,

Thanks for posting!

I see you're running into an issue using Continuity Camera, and I see you've already verified that you have it set up according to the requirements in Use Continuity Camera on your Mac.

You mentioned you're not seeing your iPhone in Pages; when you try these steps from within Pages, what do you see exactly?

"Control-click in the document or window where you want the photo to appear, or choose the File or Insert menu. Then, choose Import or Insert from iPhone or iPad > Take Photo, which opens the camera app on your iPhone or iPad."

To narrow things down, you might test in one of the other supported apps to see if the same thing happens:

"Check supported applications

You can use Continuity Camera on your Mac in these apps:

  • Finder
  • Keynote 8.2 or later
  • Mail
  • Messages
  • Notes
  • Numbers 5.2 or later
  • Pages 7.2 or later
  • TextEdit"

Depending on what you find by testing, it may help you to restart both your iPhone and Mac together, and then test again. Does that help?

Best wishes!
