'Photos' and file storage locations
Hello,
I currently store my photos in standard folders on my Macbook Pro under 'Finder' > 'my name' > 'pictures', as I always have done. I import RAW from my camera, convert to JPG in Photoshop and manually organise them into folders. However, I am considering moving everything into the Photos app.
If I import these photos into the Photos app, what happens to the storage location? Does the storage location stay the same, but the photos just appear in the app? Does it duplicate the files and store them in a new location when they are imported? Is the location moved?
I don't want to end up with having the same photos stored across multiple locations, but also don't want to delete anything by accident.
Thanks for your help,
Tom
