Location services in control centre

You are laboring under the misconception that location services uses energy. It doesn't. And it's a bad idea to turn it off because if it is off and your phone is lost or stolen there will be no way to track it.

You probably could create a shortcut to do this using Siri.

Thanks for the correction, I didn't click on it (to avoid driving traffic to it).

You may be pretty sure, but you would be wrong. Obviously everything consumes energy, but location services is only a receiver. As a rough estimate leaving location services on for a day uses less energy than a 1 minute phone call.
