Trying to buy iPhone 11 pro (unlocked) in Taiwan through Apple website

Trying to buy iPhone 11 pro (unlocked phone) in Taiwan through Apple website. Can I use this phone in South Korea? I already have a SIM in South Korea. FYI, the SIM card is from KT (telecommunication company in South Korea). Seems like Taiwan is using GSM system and South Korea is using CDMA...

Yes. Unlocking only applies to GSM, not CDMA. If the iPhone is unlocked it means it can use a sim card from any GSM carrier.

So it should work with a South Korean GSM carrier. If your Carrier is CDMA, then its up to them to want to add the device to there database for use with their service.

Note that the warranty will only be valid in Taiwan. so if anything happens that requires Warranty service the iPhone will need to be taken back to Taiwan.
