I can’t connect my HomePod to my iPhone

Once you have done this you will be able to use airplay to play audio from your iPhone using HomePod. Follow this link to learn more about Airplay audio - https://support.apple.com/en-afri/HT202809

Keep in mind that airplay uses wifi, not bluetooth, to stream audio and your devices must be on the same wifi network in order for airplay to work.
