The go to way for battery management is Try resetting the  SMC  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

Verify your battery is in Normal condition—hold the option key and click the battery icon in the upper right menu bar—anything but "Condition: Normal" needs to be serviced.

You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /touchbar is this

or

what exact macOS you are currently running?

thanks for your respond . I did reset SMC but didn't work :(( I chatted with apple support online they couldn't solve my problem. they just recommended to upgrade to Mojave . but I don't want to upgrade , the High Sierra works very well on my MacBook except this battery issue. the only way linger for me is shutting down system every night. is there a problem if I shut down system every night???

Upgrading is not a know solution to this problem, but it makes their job at apple support simpler. Upgrading solves a lot of other problems.

The SMC Reset procedure article is complicated. You must select the correct version for your exact computer, and do it according to the EXACT directions in the SMC article, or nothing happens and no improvement.

I have the same issue.

Macbook pro 2017 13" with touch bar.

the problem began since I upgraded to Mojave 10.14.6.

I upgraded only to install Xcode 11.

since then the battery drain about 7-8% each hour while lid is closed. the machine get warm while sleeping.

all application are closed. (the adapter is unplugged)

Tried all sort of things recommended in forums like disable bluetooth and changing the sleeping mode to 25.

still battery drain and it is very frustrating.

before the upgrade all was OK.
