Having trouble migrating my data from older PC to new Mac, will connecting by Ethernet help?
Migrating data by Wi-Fi is not working will connection with Ethernet help, or am I stuck taking it to Apple to figure out?

Yes Ethernet would be a better option.

Then if that does not work, you can manually move data from the PC to your Mac, using an MSDOS FAT-32 formatted external drive.
