Broke camera after IOS 13 update

Apple iOS 13.3 also broke the camera on my iPhone 10 Max, black screen on 1x and no other functions. Works on 2x. Have tried all remedies suggested by Apple, reset and complete restore. Needs Apple software patch.

I had this issue was well, but then after a few flickers (almost like its priming the cameras) then finally resolved, there seems to be a native bug in the camera app that causes that camera to go blank. After a few times this issue disappeared as if the phone finalized the priming between the two cameras on my iPhone XS Max device.

It’s an issue with the update many people are having it. I would guess there will be a fix. Restarts and factory resets don’t work.

Happened to me as well. My back camera/flashlight worked an hour before update and with update stopped working. I went to Apple store and they claimed hardware issue since couldn’t prove happened with update so now suppose to pay for new camera.

I am also having issues with iOS 13.3 with iPhone 11 Pro with front facing camera. I have tried:

• resetting all settings
• closing camera app
• restarting phone
• switching between rear and front facing camera in camera app

All other functions seem normal.

My camera is missing it's video selection after the last update. I can do photos and time lapse but no regular video. I restarted it and it was there for a short time (less than 5 minutes, then it disappeared again. So am I going to have to restart my iPhone every time I want to take a video???

I am assuming that there is a fix coming.

iPad OS broke the camera on my iPad Pro 10.5”. I figured it would be fixed in an update but it still doesn’t work. Apple is unwilling to do anything because the iPad is is out of warranty. Thanks Apple.
