Missing pop3 email sent folder at IOS13

Incredible but true.

I have two pop3 accounts.

One is working now. The other is not.

What I did is just keep on recreating the first account. Doing the same with the second is not working.

Crazy.

PS: I just write in order to help people in my situation out there, not to stalk :-)

I managed to do it on the second account. And believe it or not it all has to do with smtp server.

I kept on changing the smtp server until it worked. Don't know why, but it worked.

I only have at least 8 or 9 smtp servers now...

what i did was bring the 11pro back to Apple for a new one... and changed from pop 3 to IMAP.. which i actually like alot better for my purposes... the IMAP works and is now on all devices.. i couldnt get pop3 to work..but i do know others who bought same phone and their pop3 works fine.. so it seems to be an erratic problem and the solution is still unclear.

Apple support just now told me to go back to IMAP or await iOS update (running 13.3 already). They accepted that I changed from IMAP as the issue with that were worse. Not sync’ing and inbox emails delete after half an hour. I’ll have to stay on pop without sent folder in the meantime I guess

Mikey, he is correct. That is not how pop mail works. You can select your preferences as to messages staying on the server. Pop gives you the ability to decide (in your config) hope universally you want to handle this. IMAP does not. If his settings dictated delete when downloaded then the mail is gone.

have you checked 'internet mail' to see if these emails that are missing are on the server? ... you probably still have them but the dysfunctional iphone11 POP mail situation and iOS13 is an ongoing nightmare.. let apple know.

After much cursing and trying various things, my Sent items folder suddenly appeared as if by magic. I can't pinpoint what I did, but it was a combination of updating software, then delete mail account, reinstalling it. Closing it all apps, switching phone off completely, saving drafts and then sending. I really wish I knew which bit had worked!?

This morning all my folders have reappeared so it may be worth waiting overnight to see if the same happens for all.

Nothing really special, just looking at the menus, opening and closing, I went into Advanced and didn't change anything. Went back to my Mail and there they were.

Please open a case with Apple. They don’t read this discussion forum but the more cases that get reported the more likely they are to fix the problem.

I have the same problem. Also no trash folder which means I cannot undelete messages I deleted by mistake. I found a message that I deleted from my POP account in the 'All Bins' folder and tried to restore it. Not possible!! This is bad!!! Please fix this soon!

Yes I did it at least 20 times.

When I send the email, an empty draft folder appears. No sent folder. After closing and reopening the app, the draft folder is gone and no sent folder is there.

Just before anyone asks: I have deleted and recreated the account twice. No improvments.

I just installed 13.1.1 on an Iphone7 and have this problem with my comcast email account. No sent folder, and can't seem to save/recover drafts.

I just logged onto my comcast(xfinity) email account via their web page interface, and it appears my "sent" folder is empty(???) Did 13.1.1 wipe them off of the server?

My yahoo and gmail email accounts are fine.

I have submitted this as a bug to apple.

Going to try rolling back to 12.4.1 and see if that sorts things (it should in theory). If it does, then I'll use itunes (which I didnt use initially) to upgrade to 13.1.2. I'll report back how I make out.
