Connect question

When i use lightning to connect my iphone xr with my macbook air. The screen will show charging and disconnect and charging. Repeated all the time. I even can’t choose the question “do you trust this”. Whyyyyyyyy

But when i use other brand’s charging cable, it could work. I don’t know why. I think my two lightning is not broken.

iPhone Charging. I've been recently watching movies on my iPhone and the small screen had been hurting my eyes. Since the app i'm using does not have a website and the app isn't available on my laptop, i thought that i could just connect my iPhone to my MacBook Air using my Apple USB cable provided with my phone with the pre-installed app "QuickTime Player" on my Apple iPhone. But this wasn't as easy as i thought it was going to be. Once i plugged in my iPhone, the charging notification is constantly popping up and i don't know what to do. It looks to be that it is connecting to my MacBook then instantly disconnecting. I've been searching up about this problem and tried everything including launching the "Activity Monitor" application, cleaning the ports of both my phone and mac, and even resulting to purchasing a new charger! Crazy. But this problem looks to be that several other people are also experiencing this issue. If anyone can help me with this problem, or something that i could try (by not breaking bank and spending much money) I'd be jumping with joy because this feature is very irritating to me and i bet for others also. It would be greatly appreciated if Apple themselves could respond to me, or fix it in the newly coming phone, then that'd be awesome! Thanks!

Charging Issues on New iPad mini 6 After I had briefly charged my iPhone 8 from my new iPad mini 6 using a lightning to USB C cord my new iPad has been unable to charge. When I plug my iPad into a charger, there is no response. The only thing that does happen is if I plug my iPad into my Mac, it will charge my Mac from the iPad's power source. Any help would be much appreciated!

MacBook Air not charging my iPhone My MacBook Air 2013 13” recognizes my iPhone SE 2nd Gen. But does not charge it. I have tried several new lightning cables.

It sounds like your charging cable is defective and needs to be replaced if other cables are allowing you to connect your iPhone.
