Which processor is best for running large logic pro x projects

Can anybody enlighten me on which processor would be best for running large logic pro x projects, which could handle the tonnes of plugins open and running at once....

Either the 3.2GHz 8-core Intel Xeon W that comes with the iMac Pro

OR

the processor that is available as an upgrade with the standard iMac which is a 3.6GHz 8-core Intel Core i9 Processor

I am not very knowledgable when it comes to processors. But it has been suggested online that the Xeon is better for rendering tasks whereas the i9 might be better at running demanding logic pro x tasks?

No idea whether this is true or not. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

Many thanks
