while browsing through some discussions here, my eye fell on a subject which interested me. It suprised me that a link to an Apple document -provided by Eric Root- could not be found.
Is there a way to get this information anyhow?

That Apple knowledge base article PH10929 is not available. As fellow users, we have no control over Apple's internal content organization. You could use this Google search string: apple support "startup computer stops or delays".
That will get you several hits on the general topic.

I would never have come to the idea to use a Google search, when I'm browsing for answers in the Apple support community. Really! I must make a habbit of thinking out of the "Apple-box". Thank you for that.

Google archives the discussions content, so when you blow a fuse trying to use the community search, there is Google.
