When I send e-mail to accounts in Yahoo or AOL, I get the message "Unable toi verify message signature"

That link gave me the info that I needed. Fixed it when I simply unchecked the box under the signature selection.

This just started happening after six years on this iMac. I cannot see how AOL & Yahoo got together to make a change at exactly the same time.
