That's because Apple no longer sells the Xs Max.

You can see prices for the currently available iPhone models in the online apple store for your country if one is available. https://apple.com/iphone

Apple no longer markets the iPhone XS, or XS Max. You may have luck finding one at an Apple authorized dealer.
