My MacBook display is flickering a few times in a day. I tried to reset by the spacial instruction, which is in the apple website and it's not fixed. I want to know does it get worse or not? My apple care is expired and I don't know how much money should I pay for repair? is it $299?
Take it to Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined and receive an estimate for the repair. If it is a hardware issue, then chances are the repair will cost a bit more than you mention. Whether the repair cost is worth it or not depends partly on the age of the computer and what you think is reasonable.
