upgrade to os10.11 from 10.10.5

I have an MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014, 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7) running OS 10.10.5 and need to upgrade to 10.11 or higher. Where is the link to download 10.11 and is there any better recommendation?

Any issues to be aware of in doing this upgrade?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download Mojave from the Mac App Store.
