Purchased Apple care with iPhone 11

I just looked under apples “ my support” To see if my new iPhone 11 pro max is listed For coverage.

the iPhone 11 is not listed as covered.

my payment plan shows that I will be paying for Apple care theft and lost which is what I want.

do I need to register the iPhone 11 to Apple care?

You need to call Apple directly and ask for AppleCare Administration.

This happened to us as well. The first phone (of two) we ordered, is already in service and we did not receive the AppleCare plan email. The other phone, which is being shipped, the email arrived already.

I knew something wasn't right with that. And it turns out it wasn't right. AppleCare had no record of me purchasing the plan and I had to actually send them proof. They were very nice about it and I now have the plan details for both phones. But had I not called them, the plan would have never shown on the phone we just got Friday.

It will take about 72 hours for the plan to appear in the Settings > General > About.

But based on what you've written, I recommend you call them.

Follow up: I received an email at 9:03 p.m. on Saturday night thanking me for purchasing AppleCare+ for my wife's iPhone which I ordered on 9/18, five days after I ordered my iPhone. I have my iPhone and I have not received any indication from Apple about the AppleCare+ but I have the agreement number and corresponding serial number for my wife's AppleCare+ for a phone we won't even receive for about a week. Very strange.
