iPhone 6 mute switch
The mute switch on my phone keeps switching to sound on and won't stay in the mute position. What should I do, in the settings in says that I have a limited warranty until 12/24/19

That switch could have some debris/lint... and perhaps needs to be cleaned, in order to "stay" on or off.
Try (using a brush) to clean it. If the issue still persists, then yes, have it inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider:--> Apple – Location Selector
