Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have the safe finder/http://search1123446-a.akamaihd.net virus on my Safari. However, I've gone into preferences and changed my homepage and search engine preferences, and it still pops up. Plus, I have no extensions and the safe finder app is not in my application folder.
What do I need to fix this?

You have adware/malware installed. Use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After scanning a couple of times, restart the computer and test. If necessary, follow the manual instructions. Do not download any other programs that are listed in the articles. Malwarebytes uninstall
