I upgraded to watchOS5 and now I cannot figure out how to make Mickey Mouse tell me the time. I looked through SETTINGS and I could not find the old setting that said "Tap to Speak Time". I cannot find it anywhere. I removed the Mickey Mouse face from the watch and reinstalled it and that didn't work either. Other sounds do play through the watch like Music, Chime, etc.
Can somebody help me with this? Thank you.

Apple moved the setting to CLOCK. On your Watch go to Settings, then to CLOCK tap on it and turn on "Speak Time" & "Always Speak". In addition check your Control Panel and make sure nothing is muted.

Just to make sure, did you update your iPhone iOS to 13.1 (or higher)? Both have to be updated and the instructions say that the phone should be updated first. (I did not realize my iPhone had not been updated to the latest version, so I had to update it after I updated the watch iOS.) Then, after both had been updated and re-booted I still had the issue where Minnie did not speak the time. BUT, after a few hours, the next morning, VOILA! all was well. It worked/works!
So, I don't know if you've just completed the steps and it's not working, but if that is the case, you'll have to allow some time to pass (pun unintended).
i just updated the watch iOS to 6.0.1. The Minnie Mouse face does NOT speak the time. I also noticed that the digital time display in the upper left corner of the watch face displays 7:07 p.m., no matter what time it is. I wonder is Minnie Mouse is confused by the difference between the time her hands say vs. the digital display. Her hands display the correct time. Poor girl; what’s she supposed to say?
