I wanna buy an Apple Watch series 5 . However, my iPhone has Vodafone India cellular network . I found that Vodafone network is not there for Apple Watch series 5 . My question is why as well as , is there any way around this ?

Unfortunately they need to be on the same network. They use the same number. So you would need to change to Airtel for both iPhone and watch.
You could consider switching to a carrier that does support the Apple Watch.
You should keep in mind that the GPS only model does Everything the the Cellular model does as long as your iPhone is nearby, including phone calls, text, etc... and it can still play stored music and podcasts via Bluetooth headphones, track your exercise when away from the iPhone.
Unfortunately not. Untill Vodafone India support the Apple Watch.

My iPhone has the Vodafone carrier . Will the watch work normally in cellular version if I have a different carrier on my watch like Airtel perhaps ?
