how do i uninstall iOS 4?

App compat problems (mainly hardware, schosche remote, primarily) - how do I uninstall/restore to previous OS? I've docked my phone to iTunes several times since the upgrade and when I click Restore, it starts to go ahead and restore some restore point, but to what - I don't know. Doesn't ask me to what point, and I don't know if it's going to restore to a previous config, or firmware or what.

The iPhone is not designed to easily go backwards. Google can help you with this as there is no official way to do it.

If you are having problems with a particular app, contact that App Developer and let them know their app has a bug in it that needs correcting.

I cant stand it when some gives a answer they know nothing about. All you have to do is restore the iphone, after it reboots don't choose to use the 4.0.

Darn. Still no official answer here...

I got the free upgrade to iOS 4 on my 2nd gen iPod Touch and only two things bother me:
1) Apps quit unexpectedly
2) Battery life really stinks now

I haven't used my iPod Touch that much since I got the iPad and I used to be able to go at least a week on standby before I had to charge it up. Now that iOS 4 is on it, I can only go 3-4 days before I need to charge it again even though I haven't used it at all. And I don't even get all of the features that an iPhone would get!
