I know it says IPod Nano 4th gen, but it didn't allow me to choose 3rd Gen, so I picked what was closer to it.
Regardless, I'd like to transfer some new music into my old ipod I found, but when I plug in the cable with the ipod into my computer, my computer doesn't recognize the device and doesn't connect to iTunes. Can someone help?

Try iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. If you are running Windows 10 you may be better with the traditional iTunes installer over the version from the Microsoft Store.
