Apple Watch series 5 battery drainage.

i had this problem, here is what i did to fix it.

on your watch go to -> Settings ->General -> Background App Refresh ->

Turn Off:

Compas

Noise

After this change was done, the watch is back to normal. Lasting all day with a little under 50% Battery.

Before this change the battery would be at 50% left with most of the day left. As soon as it gets to 30% it would quickly drain to under 20%. I knew something was wrong.

Turning off compass and Noise in General>Background AppRefresh

stopped the battery drain for me

if this doesn't work i would try to reset the watch. Unpair and pair back.

I actually have every app in app refresh off

Try resetting your Watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both buttons.

I will try that. I have the modular face, which I love and always use, same complications as my prior model. Actually my entire watch is set up the same except I have less features on and compass and noise are not even on the watch.

Yes my battery drained to 10% in 4 hours!! As much as Apple charges what is the point if you cant wear all day?

I thought 10% was bad i looked and my watch has drained 20%, in just the same amount time. I've reset, hard reset, I have done it all! I hope your issue gets resolved.

I have, I unpaired it as well. I have less usage than I had with my s3 which at this point is pointless and I can’t make it through the day with it. I’m so confused

I also saw in a video that the type of face you have on the watch affects the battery. Try a really simple face no complications.
