Does anyone having similar issue with CarPlay after updating to ios13?
When I connect to my car headunit to my iPhone x, album art doesn’t show up in on the carplay in my car unit, there’s no “show album art” in setting on the carplay either .
However when I connect to my wife’s iPhone 8 Plus, album art shows up on the carplay in my car unit. So it’s not the issue with my car unit. I have no idea what is the issue here. Can anybody help?

I am using my iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 13.1 and iPhone 8 with iOS 13. Both has no "show album art" in setting. My car unit is Pioneer Z5150BT and I hope someone can help! Envy those who can show their album art...
try to change your region setting to USA in iPhone. It seems that the feature of album art doesn’t support all region
I've updated to ios13.1 and there is still no "show album art" in setting.
Wow I can’t believe it works!!! Changing the region to United State brought me album artwork in carplay! Thanks a lot!! It’s been bothering me for the past few months!
