I updated to watchOS 6 the other day and, ever since then, it only intermittently charges. The charging animation keeps going on and off, it charges super slowly because if it, and gets absurdly hot. Anyone else having this problem?

I am using a charging stand and what I see now is that the watch sometimes does not even switch to the charging animation after I put it on. But it still seems to charge "silently" without notification.
If I tilt the charging stand a bit sideways, it suddenly shows charging animation... so there really seems to be something buggy in the animation/charging...
watchOS 6 charging issue?
