iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

Fitbit says that they are not updated yet for iPhone 11. With that being said, my Fitbit did eventually connect with my iPhone 11 Pro. I have asked when Fitbit will be updated but have not received a response as of yet

That's great! Hope it works for you. I doubt the hundreds of people on this thread, including me, have defective phones however. Ironically my wife just got a replacement 11 yesterday, and still has the same issues with bluetooth I had, namely connecting to certain non apple devices. Hopefullly another software update is already in the works.

Thank you yesterday with apple on the phone this solution worked. My first call on my way home it worked. My second call right at 5 minutes kicked off my Bluetooth again! Update 13.1.2 has not worked.

Has not worked funny how the support I have all talked to which is several al say they have never heard of this issue and I am the first one I told the, ummm don’t you keep track of your forums online.

Updated software to 13.1.2, deleted pairing, turned off wi-fi. repair phone to my car, 2017 Jaguar F-Pace and i still have drop issues. Also contacts dont sync correctly, they seem to sync with an older version of my contacts (I cleaned up my contact list before trading in my phone to upgrade to iPhone 11 Pro).

I got another call back from Apple support and the CS rep that's following up with me says Apple is actively trying to figure out the issue. I'm participating by installing a special Bluetooth profile on my phone for them so they can log and try to diagnose. they were looking for people near the bay area to physically test but i'm in southern california.

I have informed them there are multiple threads on here regarding the ongoing issue.

I tried this on the weekend when apple suggested it didn’t work. Then I saw your response today and thought well since I updated to 1.2 maybe I’ll try it again removing the case did not work for me. I have the outter box case Apple sells.

Thats good stuff. I wish they would allow me to do something like that. I have called Apple Support and the Apple Store Genius Bar and they both told me that it would be forwarded to the Apple Engineers. I have not gotten any sort of follow-up call, so whatever you did to get a call back is great.

I am having the same problem with my iPhone 11. It connects to my Lexus but then disconnects after a few minutes. Then it connects and disconnects over and over again, and drops calls if I am on the phone. Tried deleting the connection and pairing fresh, but no relief from the problem. Have updated to 13.1.1, and no help. My sister and her daughter both got iPhone XRs in the past week and both have the same flaky connection problem. All of us previously had iPhone 5c or 6 and no problems with those.

Good for you. I just called Apple Support for follow-up and the agent I spoke with said that he is not aware of any issue with iPhone 11 Bluetooth. Told me to just wait for an update from Apple that might fix it.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. I’m not sure how you did it, but it sounds like you got through to the right person. I’ve called several times and all I get is the usual-reset, restore, rename, etc.

Iphone 11pro on att running 13.1.2. Bluetooth drops calls in subaru and Toyota cars anywhere from 2min to 5min into calls. Tried everything suggested. No improvement. Spoke with support, they told me to call Toyota because their infotainment system is not compatible. This response is unacceptable. I replied... I’m calling you because your phone is not compatible with Subaru, Toyota and probably several other manufacturers. I’m returning my phone as I drive for a living and can’t use handheld devices. Sucks because I actually like the phone.

I've tried everything as well. You can add the PCM system for Porsche to that list. Apple Support is actually calling me at 5:05 to confirm the amount of time it takes to disconnect from the Bluetooth. We will see if that accomplishes anything.

Below is the response I got after being on a chat with a advisor and a senior advisor.

"We will schedule a call for you. During your call, we will send the details to our engineers who will begin investigation the issue and will provide the best solution. We will contact you back when the investigation has completed with the next steps to solve this. Can I get that setup for you?"

The senior advisor said an engineer will call me within the next 10 minutes.

Everything was just fine with my 6s. I was looking forward to this iPhone 11 pro so bad. The only thing I got better so far was the camera. If I dont have the blue tooth working correctly it’s not very useful to me. I’ve lost a little faith in Apple today.
