I am trying to connect my Hot Spot internet so I can use the HP Instant Ink program. In order to use the program, my printer must be connected to the internet every so often, I want to use my iPhone Hot Spot to do this. Can I turn off or add this printer to my MAC address filtering? I won't be printing from my phone, but my computer.

The iPhone hotspot has no Mac Address filtering.
Any device that can see the Wifi network it creates should be able to connect to it.
Make sure the Hotspot settings screen is open on your iPhone when looking for it from the Printer.
