Backing up MacBook Pro
On macbook pro I have ticked everything to icloud drive but when I look on another device at "backups" I can only see back ups for my phone and ipad not the macbook - am I not backing up correctly? Thanks

It’s hard to imagine what “everything” might mean.
But regardless, iCloud Drive is not normally a place where Mac backups are contained. It’s a place where iPhone or iPad backups are contained.
Back up your Mac to a physical device under your control using Time Machine.
