newsyslog.conf and restart web, calender, teams

Hello,

I want to rotate logfiles. I have these entries in /etc/newsyslog.conf:

/var/log/caldavd/access.log root:wheel 640 7 * @T0001 J
/var/log/caldavd/error.log root:wheel 644 7 * @T0001 J
/var/log/apache2/*_log root:wheel 644 7 * @T0002 JG

A cronjob restarts the services to use the new logfiles:

5 0 * * * (/usr/sbin/serveradmin stop calendar; /usr/sbin/serveradmin stop web; /usr/sbin/serveradmin stop teams; /usr/sbin/serveradmin start teams; /usr/sbin/serveradmin start web; /usr/sbin/serveradmin start calendar)

But the logfiles are not reopened. If I run the commands in a terminal, all logging is okay.

How do I get the logging right?

Regards.
