We are not Apple, but other end users. We can wildly guess but cannot give you a meaningful quote. Also repair costs vary with where you are in the world. These forums are international but we cannot see you geographical location.

We do know that the current MacBook Pros have a sealed display assembly; any repairs needed require replacing the entire display assembly. My guess, slightly educated due to reading posts here for years, is that in the US you are looking at US$500-600.

Or are there better options?

Not many.

• If you have AppleCare+ the repair is made at a reduced price.
• An Apple Authorized Service Provider would not be much cheaper because they must buy parts from Apple and may charge more for labor depending on location.
• Enquire of Apple about getting a "depot repair." It may be cheaper but will take longer to get your computer back, may 7-10 business days.

Another option is to ignore it.
