iPhone 11 Pro Max - freezing issues

Ha- Same here. The only reason I bought the 12 was for photo improvements. My 6S plus was far superior and more dependable.

Have problem hanging freezing when typing keyboard it’s freezing giving some error when google made maps working

Yes and it is really getting annoying. The screen freezes constantly on almost any app and I have to close and reopen apps all the time to get them to work

My phone is always current on updates

Yeah. It’s getting real annoyingly bad. I have the iPhone 11 Pro and this is continually happening to me too. Anyone found any new fixes (besides constantly restarting the phone?)

It’s alway frozen, and disappear of some apps while working on it. Very disappointed!

OKAY, I know this sounds silly - but before I would do ANYTHING I would from my personal experience with strange things on iPhones do the following part A & B. 

(A)

1. Turn on assistive touch. 
2. Tap the white circle. 
3. In rapid consecutive steps press but do not hold:  volume up, then volume down, then the sleep/power button. 
4. When the slider appears so step 5 below. 
5. Hold the home button until the iPhone reacts. 
6. Enter your password. 
7. After back to home screen then tap the white assistive touch home button from your screen then tap restart. 

If Part A alone does not resolve then follow step B while repeating step A first. 

(B)

1) Airplane mode on & then off, waiting 30 seconds between swipes.

2) Any time you delete data like pics or update large number (or any) apps, do 1 and then restart.

3) If #2 was not necessary, restart phone anyway - I like doing It through assistive touch which can be added to your control panel... or shut down through General.

4) Every day / week at least once if none of 1-3 were necessary - power off the phone for a minute and power back on.

See my answer below. I also see strange things with camera like it dances when held still.

tegresh with clearing ram and toggle off and on airplane and restart or power off from menu or assistive touch.

Thank you so much. I actually decided to call and talk to someone who was beyond helpful while you were typing this I imagine haha. The CSR I spoke to on the app was flat out wrong. I am within the return date, and will be picking it up tomorrow. I had said that I was done with apple because every product I’ve purchased in the last three years has had some serious glitches. I’m normally pretty patient, but for this kind of money I have very high expectations. For some people their prices are nothing, but I’m not a wealthy person. Thanks again for your advice! I’m not saying that this will fix it, but it’s a starting point I guess.

As I said: iam on 13.2 and still freezing for a couple of seconds.

Example :

when new mail arrives and notifications comes down - change to mail app - it freezes for seconds.

same on other apps.

so what said Apple to you ? 13.2 fix it ? Why an appointment?

I know how you feel, it took about 3 or 4 days after upgrading to 13.2 for the phone to become normal. I had the same issues up until then. Nothing since I’m happy to report. I have had every iPhone and this is by far the worst issues I’ve ever had with an Apple device.

I posted a couple of days ago about the camera on my iPhone 11 freezing. An earlier poster on this thread suggested disabling “shake to undo”. This seems to have done the trick for me, thankfully! I’ve taken a lot of photos these last couple of days and the camera hasn’t frozen at all. 👍

sorry to hear that, I had the same issue with my 11 pro max and 8 plus I updated it to the latest version and it just got better not 100% but I will say 90% hope full apple will fix this as well
