this is really a shame to behave like that. I searched for Find Friends for several days until i found this post. APPLE should not treat customers like that, you have to warn and guide people. Amazing...

i Agree but that’s is just the world we live in or should I say created for ourselves. I spent the past 30 minutes stressing with my daughter over my shoulder trying figure this out. She bought a new iPhone X and I have the 7. Both just downloaded the new OS X 13. We want to be able to find her phone if she loses it. She lost her last one and hadn’t let us set up find my iPhone. Now she’s learned her lesson but we can’t set the darn thing up! Why stress right? I don’t know....I guess because I just expect it to work and when it doesn’t.......still haven’t got it to work. Thanks apple. Can’t you just leave it alone for a few years and let it work?

If she wants to setup Find My iPhone so that it can be located if lost all she needs to do is go to the Settings app on her phone, tap her username near the top of the Settings screen, tap "Find My" and then tap Find My iPhone and turn on the options there.

Find My Friends App shows up in the App Store but is greyed out because "This app requires specific features not available on this device". I have an iPhone XS Max, so I'm surprised that I can't use this app.

Read all the stuff about Find My merging with etc. but still cant get it.

In my house we have 4 - XRs.

2 were purchased awhile ago, 2 were purchased a week ago.

Please tell me how did 1 of our phones delete the find my friends app and the other 3 stayed the same?

What is the iOS version of each phone?

read the first message, the answer is in the title. FIND FRIENDS is now FIND MY PHONE.. APPLE should at least provide a warning message but they dont seem to care much..

I found it. The "Find My" was bundled in to the "extras" box with all the useless apps
