Negative balance on Apple Pay cash

Hello. My Apple Pay Cash shows -40 in my wallet. I don’t quite understand what this means. I was scammed 40 dollars last month but was reimbursed for it so I’m confused. Please help

Just went though the same issue except I was scammed 376.50 I just got it back today. And my balance is negative -376.50 idk how to transfer it back to my bank. 😔
