I think i know the answer, but i want to double check.
6th form students at our school are setting up an internet radio station. They want to broadcast music and interviews.
They had planned to use Apple Music to stream the music they then broadcast.
Are they able to do this with the relevant PPL/PRS licenses?

Apart from whether or not you are allowed to do it, there's the whole matter of if you even could do it technically because of the encrypted stream.
We are users like you. For this kind of thing you are better off getting advice from Apple itself rather than armchair lawyers.
It seems the PPL/PRS licensing service is about the artist/music itself and not about how you get it.
I would highly suggest you ask them if Apple Music sourced tracks are covered by their licenses.
I'll guess the music is, but not obtaining it via Apple Music. In other words, Artist John Smith's track called "A Song I Wrote" may be covered by PPL/PRS but not acquiring via Apple Music.
