Whenever I take a picture it makes a noise even though the shutter sound is off!!

I got an IPhone XR, whenever I take a picture where it’s on a social media app or the regular camera app it makes a noise even though the shutter sound is off!!

Check the model number and see if it ends in J/A. If it does that was a Japanese market iPhone and you cannot turn off the camera shutter sound.

Where did you purchase your device? There are some countries that don't allow the shutter sound to be turned off by law.
