Apple iPhone 7 battery replacement
If I replace the battery in my iPhone 7, will I lose any of my information? Can my phone carrier do it or do I need to go to an Apple store? Thank you.

It really depends. Apple always recommends that any device brought in for service or evaluation be properly backed up. Usually they don't need to wipe a device, but they make everyone sign a form that acknowledges that loss of data is a possibility.
There are various reasons why data might be lost. One is that if they don't have the proper passcode to unlock the iPhone, they won't be able to properly test it and might just wipe it to access it. They might do that if the customer doesn't turn off Find My (iPhone). Another possibility is that the entire device is replaced in lieu of replacing the battery and returning it to the customer. That's one option that Apple has.
That being said, my iPhone 7 went in for battery replacement at an Apple Store and I got it back with all the data intact. I did make sure that it was backed up to iTunes before going in for the service.
