Apple store for Chinese apps
I’m in China but cannot download many of the app from the local banks. Any clues?

What region's App Store are you on? Many Chinese banks will only have their apps available on the China App Store.
If you've just arrived there from somewhere else or are just traveling, you're probably on the App Store for your previous region and as a result these apps won't be available to you. You'll need an Apple ID with the location set to China to download many region-specific apps in this case.
