Condensation within the screen, iMac, Mid 2010

As you can see, the iMac has so much condensation inside the screen, but it's been working fine. This problem just masks initially what I can see. Not too sure what to do regarding this issue? Has anyone else had this problem? If so what would be the solution?

That problem is caused by high moisture content in your Home or Office, Basically the moisture starts forming between the display panel and glass cover after the iMac is shut off and begins cooling down.

One solution, is to periodically remove the front glass cover and manually remove the condensation as rk87 suggests.

Another option, is to leave the iMac on and running long enough to evaporate the condensation. Then just leave the iMac on in display sleep mode, so that it does not get completely cold.

Other solutions include, moving the iMac to a dryer location or using a dehumidifier to control the humidity in your home or office.

Do you happen to live in an environment where the relative humidity is high? What is the dew point in your area when this issue occurs? This iMac is 9 years old. Is this the first time the issue has ever occurred on it? Did the issue occur after a recent change in the weather (e.g. tropical storm)

I suspect that warm moist air is condensing onto the inside surface of the glass panel when it touches the cooler surface of the glass panel. The 2010 iMac has a removable glass panel held in place by magnets that isn't fully sealed from the surrounding environment, so it's possible for the ambient air to get into the space behind the glass panel even with the foam seal present.

What happens if you temporarily change the energy save settings so that the iMac doesn't sleep, then run applications that make the iMac warm up (loop a video?) so that it dries out the iMac. This may only be a temporary solution if the same environmental conditions continue to be present.
