Photos App Has my Albums showing up as empty!

Hi, I've been using Photos since iPhoto, and upon migrating I noticed the tremendous slowness, yet just upgraded the laptop and I bear with the app..

However, this issue happened after using Photos for years now, I suddenly found my old albums ALL show 0 photos in them! the photos are still in the app somewhere, lost and unorganized.. But I have thousands of them, and I'm a very organized person, with 100's of albums now screwed...

Ive tried backing up and fixing the library, twice. Nothing got fixed...

There are so many bugs in the app but those are years of organizing, I dunno what to do, please help..

Which system version is running on the Mac? What happened before the albums vanished? Did you perhaps just enable iCloud Photos on a new device, on an iPhone or iPad? You may want to check the iCloud > Photos settings on all devices. A system upgrade could have enabled iClod without you noticing it.

If you just started to use iCloud, wait a few days, sometimes the albums will return once the first iCloud sync finishes.

If iCloud is not the problem, you could restore your PhotosLibrary from the last backup you made before the albums vanished. Do you have a current backup?
