Controllers on IPhone
If I have an adapter that plugs into the lighting port of my phone and has an open usb on the end that I could plug an Xbox controller into would it work?

It needs to be a Bluetooth controller. There are only certain controllers that are compatible right now. Plugging one into the lightning port through dongles isn't going to work.
