hp deskjet 9800 and high sierra

I'm trying to install my HP Deskjet 9800 on my iMac running High Sierra and it is not recognized. Any suggestions?

Please follow the steps in https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/add-a-printer-on-mac-mh14004/mac

If the printer is new and still will not connect, try another USB cable.
