Apple Music Shuffle turns off on its own

While listening to my Music on shuffle, after 10 minutes of music play my shuffle will randomly shut off and start playing songs in order. I have restarted my phone as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the music app on my phone, but the problem is still occurring. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there something else that I can do to fix the situation because I'm considering cancelling my subscription and getting Spotify because of how annoying this is.

I understand from your post that Shuffle does not stay on but for a short amount of time. In a situation like this I recommend backing up your iPhone and reinstalling the software. The following article has the steps on how to backup your iPhone:

By using the steps as listed under the heading "Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again" from the following article you can reinstall the software on your iPhone: 


If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
