Phone is now on 13.1 also had same issues out of the box. When using Bluetooth in my Toyota and Subaru the phone drops every call after about 2 minutes. No issues with music only calls. So far I did a hard reset after the phone locked up, I have forgotten Bluetooth devices and reconnected. No luck. Any insight would be great.

I think, I might have found the problem.
By default, the new updated iOS set the phone Auto lock in after 30 seconds. I changed that to longer period, and it's seen working for me for last few days.
To change the auto lock: Go to SETTING, then Display and & Brightness : AUTO LOCK then change to longer period.
Please try this, and let's us know if this is the fix. Thanks.

It’s also embarrassing, explaining why my calls are messed up.... on a very costly phone.
Same exact issue with my 2014 4runner. Bluetooth drops the call about 2 minutes in. Does this every time.
I updated to 13.1.2 and still having issues apple continues to call me to collect data but they don’t fix the problem

Confirmed it happens with my Bluetooth and BMW. At first I thought that the car was being dropped, but I think it may be the Bluetooth crapping out like you all were saying.
I have the same issue with AirPods and car Bluetooth. Also, I just updated to latest update and still the same. :(

What is interests that my wife and I have the iPhone 11pro. The difference is that she has the 256gb and I have the 512gb. She does not have the drop calls like I have.
I am on my 3rd iPhone 11 PRO-ALL 3 phones have had dropped call issues... STILL no fix.

iOS 13.2 Beta fixed my phone. iPhone 11 Pro Max 512gb. Calls on Bluetooth or CarPlay dropped every two minutes. Signing up for the beta program is fairly easy.
The 13.2 bet did not resolve my issue. Sound is still horrible when first connected to Bluetooth, then call is dropped.
toggling LTE is the only thing that seems to work, but it’s pretty ridiculous that this is the only solution that is available at the moment!
