I have an issue with my iPhone X after iOS 13 update. I started to use dark mode because I like it, but when brightness is not set on 100% I see some annoying flickering during scrolling where Dark Grey and Black content are overlapped e.g. settings app

I have the same issue on my iPhone X and it’s proving to be extremely annoying. I recently installed iOS 13.2.2 hoping it would include that fix, although my issue still persists. Wonder how soon will Apple resolve the bug. Is there A temporary solution for this?

I’ve had this same issue on my iPhone XS where the blacks have a sort of motion blur effect where when you scroll it overlaps on other colors, this does not affect older models without an oled such as the 7+ which I tested on and it did not have this bug on that LCD.
I also have this problem on my iPhone X. It seems like some kind of ghosting, where the pixels are reacting too slowly from certain dark colours to others. The lower the brightness, the slower and worse the ghosting seems to get.
I really hope this is a bug, or that there might be some kind of software "trick" that can fix it.
Just got an iPhone 11 Pro Max. was about to return this until i saw this post. I really thought it was only me experiencing this on dark mode. I really hope they fix this some kind of bug. Apple needs to know about this.
Hi, I have this issue too. iPhone Xs on 13.3, in beta I did send this to Apple, no one did reply to this and it seems like they do ignore it. Was about to restore iOS but like other commented, this did not help anything.... hope apple will fix this issue soon...
It seems to be a software bug in dark mode only. This has been going on for a while. Not everything has the delayed scroll with the color scheme. Only apps using Apple controls. Web pages, custom controls and photos are fine.

Maybe this could be a problem with the oled pixels not being able to turn on and off again on time
Yeah. That’s what I’m facing on my 11 Pro too. I thought it was hardware error of new display technology and about to send back to apple to get fixed. Thanks god I found this post.
iphone 8x has issue when using dark mode reading certain emails large solid white block covers ⅓ of the screen and is unreadable. Just started happening today iOS 13!
The only fix seems to be putting your brightness all the way up, but I doubt you’ll be doing that at the time when dark mode is enabled
I don't really know how it is possible. I don't remember nothing like that when I was on iOS 12 watching dark contents
Me too, no reply from Apple. I don't know why they ignore it, but it is really annoying and I can see it is diffused on several OLED devices
With 13.3.1 update I noted that it’s less evident but still present
