My iMessages and reminders are not syncing between my iPhone and ipad
I have updated to the latest OS for both, but they are not transferring. Can anyone help me?

Thanks - after I deleted the Reminders app, shut down my ipad and then reuploaded it, it worked! Appreciate the help!
Hello,
Try resetting iPad's network settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
Not update, I am talking about upgrading the reminders app. There is a difference.
Did you upgrade the reminders app on both devices? If you upgrade the app on one device, you have to upgrade it on the other device or the reminders will not sync,
If you didn’t upgrade the reminders app on either device, then your reminders should still sync.
Hello,
Which model of iPhone and iPad do you have?
Settings > General > About
The reminders app updated itself on my iPhone automatically, but i show no reminders on my phone at all. It appears my iMessages is not allowing messages from android phones to come through on my ipad. I can’t figure out what’s going on. how would I manualy update the Reminders app?
Thank you - i have just read through the information you supplied and I am not offered the “upgrade” screen when I open reminders on my ipad, so i have not upgraded. I deleted the app and then reinstalled it, thinking i might get another chance, ** it just opens to a blank screen with a search box and an “add file” option in the bottom right. I double checked that the OS is the most up-to-date and it is. Thanks for your patience and help!
Thanks - Reminders are now transferring between ipad and iPhone perfectly... BUT ... text messages (which show up in my iMessage app) from Android phones are getting through to my iPhone, but not my ipad. I have turned on SMS messaging and gone through everything I can think of, but no luck. My ipad is WiFi only - no cell chip - in case that matters, but I will be very unhappy if this is not fixable. Any suggestions you can offered will be appreciated!!
iPhone is 6S and iPad Air 2. Updated phone first and have new reminders, but nothing has transferred over to ipad.
Reminders updates are bundled in with the system updates. It is not possible to update Reminders separately.
Have you had a chance to check the settings I suggested in my previous post?
Reminders and Messages are enabled on both a iPhone and ipad. Both are also enabled on iCloud. Appreciate your help!
Great! I am happy to hear all is working as expected again.
